FRISCO, TX – FC Dallas battled the visiting San Jose Earthquakes to a 1-1 tie in regulation at Toyota Stadium in front of over 15,000 fans.
San Jose managed to score first on a penalty kick given due to a hand ball by Dallas in the penalty box.
In the sixth minute, Oswaldo Alanís of San Jose converts the penalty with a left footed shot to the high center of the goal for the opening score.
Dallas managed to equalize when Ricardo Pepi of FC Dallas headed a ball from the center of the box to the bottom right corner. Assisted by Justin Che with a cross.
